The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari has no certificate as alleged by the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] and its candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the Presidential Election Petition Court [PEPC].

PDP/Atiku had alleged that President Buhari is not eligible to contest the election ab initio as he does not possess the requisite qualification to vie for the exalted position.
Speaking on Channels TV, Alhaji Mohammed begged Nigerians and the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal panel to, please, forgive Buhari as he does not know where he kept his certificates.

This, according to observers, is an attestation that the president does not have certificates as copies could easily be produced if they ever really existed.

The Tribunal is set to pass its judgement on September 13 on the Atiku/PDP petition.
